Our second destination awaits for you in the Church of Andahuaylillas, or also known as the “Sistine Chapel of America” located in the town's main square, Built on the remains of the palace of Yahuar Huacac Inca, an artistic work and unique mix where European, Andean and Islamic architecture merges, its interior contains lavish works of art adorned with 28-carat gold sheets.
Then and on the way back to Cusco is Pikillacta, a pre-Inca old town whose existence is a mystery for researchers who are still analyzing its walls, avenues and houses that has up to 3 floors and builded in over 50 hectares.
